We are an Old Rite/Believer Church (Straniki) under the authority of the Georgian Patriarch, and we follow the Julian Calendar.

We are an Orthodox, English language parish serving the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.  All Pan and Eastern Orthodox worshipers are welcome to commune with us.  We further welcome people of all backgrounds and ethnicities to worship with us and learn about the ancient and unchanging beliefs of Orthodox Christianity. 

If you haven't heard of the Orthodox Church, to use a quote of an unknown writer: "The Orthodox Church is Evangelical, but not Protestant.  It is Orthodox, but not Jewish.  It is Catholic, but not Roman.  It is not non-denominational, it is pre-denominational. It has been believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for" throughout the millenniums!
